Job Description

Lead Demolition Technician — Selective Demolition Jericho Group | $22-26/hour based on experience Read this first: this is a tools-on role. You lead the crew while working with them — swinging, cutting, hauling, every day. If you're looking to supervise from a truck or a clipboard, this isn't it. Our leads don't stand back and watch. They set the pace. Don't Apply If… You want an office or truck-based management job You'd rather delegate the work than do it You're not willing to perform physical demolition work daily "That's not my job" is in your vocabulary What You'll Actually Do You're on the tools with your crew, and you're the one responsible for the job going right. Perform selective demolition work alongside your team — manual demo, demo tools, small equipment, lifting and moving materials Lead, train, and mentor crew members in the field while working beside them Read plans and make sure everyone understands the scope before the first swing Keep the job safe, organized, and moving — indoors and out, on active construction sites Communicate with project managers and clients on-site Hold the standard on tool and equipment use, cleanliness, and safety Document job progress using our communication tools Our goal is simple: safe work, clean demo, jobs done right the first time. What We're Looking For Experience leading crews in demolition, construction, or a skilled trade Willingness to work physically with your crew every single day Ability to read plans and communicate clearly on a live jobsite Real pride in quality work and a clean site Valid driver's license with a clean record Ability to pass a background check DOT medical certification, or the ability to obtain one Bonus points: selective demolition experience, prior crew lead or working foreman time, or a background in construction, demolition, landscaping, or another skilled trade. What You Get $22-26/hour depending on background Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match 2 weeks paid vacation and 5 paid holidays Room to grow with a fast-moving demolition company that promotes from the field Who Thrives Here The people who do best at Jericho lead by example, hold their crew to high safety standards, keep the job moving without cutting corners, and earn respect through work ethic instead of a title. About Jericho Group We specialize in selective demolition for commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and residential projects — preparing spaces for renovation and new construction. We're known for clean jobsites, safe crews, and professional execution. Apply Today If you're the kind of leader who works beside your crew and takes pride in every jobsite, we want to hear from you.
