Responsibilities Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews, coordinating daily tasks to meet project timelines and quality expectations Coordinate daily paving operations to ensure efficiency and quality Operate and oversee use of paving equipment daily Ensure proper asphalt placement, grading, and compaction Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols Communicate with project managers, truck drivers, and crew members Monitor materials, equipment, and job progress Assist with hands-on labor when necessary Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods Willingness to work in close proximity to hot asphalt (300°F+) in all weather conditions and seasons Knowledge of paving processes and construction site safety procedures Requirements Previous experience in asphalt paving, with leadership or operator experience Strong knowledge of paving operations, equipment, and crew management Ability to meet the physical demands of the job Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required) Reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and attention to detail What we offer: Competitive salary based on experience.
