$16.50 - $21.00 per hour (Depending on experience) Job Summary We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Asphalt Sealcoating Laborer to join our asphalt sealing crew. In this role, you will work outdoors as part of a team to preserve, protect, and beautify residential driveways and commercial parking lots. Prior experience in asphalt sealing is not required—we will provide comprehensive on-the-job training for candidates with the right attitude and work ethic!

Core Responsibilities Surface Preparation:

Clean asphalt surfaces thoroughly using power blowers, steel wire brooms, and push brooms to remove dirt and debris.

Crack & Pothole Repair:

Apply hot-pour or cold-pour rubberized crack fillers and patch potholes prior to sealing.

Sealcoat Application:

Operate spray tips, squeegees, and brushes to evenly apply protective asphalt sealant to pavement.

Site Management:

Set up safety cones and caution tape to secure the job site. Keep equipment clean and properly maintained.

Line Striping:

Assist with layout and painting of parking lot lines as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform heavy physical labor in outdoor weather conditions (heat, sun) and lift up to 80 lbs regularly.

Reliability:

Punctual, dependable, and possesses a strong work ethic.

Transportation:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the shop or job sites.

Teamwork:

Ability to work well with others and follow safety directions closely.
