We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dirt Foreman to manage grading and excavation operations across active construction sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable, safety-conscious leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready to make a lasting impact on our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and direct removal of soils and materials per contract, budget, and timeline Supervise multiple work activities across various jobsite locations Read and interpret jobsite and grading plans/drawings Manage field crews while emphasizing safety and productivity Conduct Tool-box Talks and promote a safe work culture Work with GPS grading equipment and tools Utilize Microsoft Office for project management and reporting Be available for weekend work as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities Proficient in the use and operation of heavy equipment Familiarity with GPS-based grading and site layout Able to use company software, tablets, and smartphones Excellent communication skills for interacting with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking for extended periods, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requirements:
Dependable, responsible, and safety-minded OSHA-30 and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of site safety, truck maintenance, and road regulations Experience with dump truck logistics and time management
