Job Description

As an industry leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor since 1985, EnviroVantage, Inc is looking to add to our incredible team. Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, EnviroVantage is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for the direct oversight and management of staff and subcontractors working on diverse environmental construction projects. Openings available working in demolition, restoration, earthwork and storm water.
Essential Functions:
Coordinating onsite work & scheduling of work to meet budgets Conducts daily safety meetings, daily safety/health inspections, and mishap investigations and maintains OSHA logs Responsible for getting job completed in a safe and efficient manner Supervise and direct field crews and subcontractors Ensure implementation of project specific work plans Manage crew's labor and equipment time to achieve maximum productivity and meet budgets Interface and communicate with clients in a professional manner Oversee delivery and off-loading of supplies and materials Complete daily field reports
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years related field related experience Experience with DOD, including USACE, NAVFAC, USAF or USCG required Ability to read blueprints and drawings OSHA 10 and
HAZWOPER 40
required. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire Strong working knowledge and experience with Heavy Civil projects preferred Experience and working knowledge of mapping out multi phased excavations, backfill/compaction and staying on top of any groundwater collection Experience with Demolition & Asbestos Abatement preferred Ability to manage and direct multiple crews with multiple pieces of heavy equipment Ability to manage budgets and schedules Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required Torch cutting and Rigging experience preferred, but not required
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States A valid driver's license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy Total Rewards At EnviroVantage, we're committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and work-life balance.
Compensation Compensation Range:
$35.00 - $45.00/hour Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

401(k) - 100% company match on the first 4% of employee contributions. Paid Time Off & Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per year
