Scope of Position This safety-focused and quality-driven individual, as part of the Production team, is responsible for the assembly and finishing of boiler components in one or more manufacturing disciplines, including tubing, insulation, refractory, pipefitting, and painting. The role ensures products are assembled according to specifications, quality standards, and production schedules while supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. This role is onsite and based in Hutchinson, KS. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret shop orders, work instructions, and production documentation. Operate air tools, power tools, and standard hand tools safely and efficiently. Assemble boiler components and related equipment according to specifications and quality requirements. Ensure components are properly installed and finished to achieve required appearance, fit, and functionality. Assist with training and mentoring employees within assigned departments as needed. Identify and communicate opportunities to improve workplace safety and reduce injuries or hazards. Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production goals and schedules. Complete assigned operations within established quality standards and expected production times. Inspect work and identify defects or issues requiring correction. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards. Follow all company safety procedures, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Company management. Demonstrate accountability, integrity, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.
