Job Description
Job description We are looking for a skilled Vessel Fitter with at least 10 years of current fabrication shop experience. Our shop fabricates ASME Code pressure vessels, Skid packaged systems, and Heat exchanger shells. Our fitters perform all fabrication and fit-up tasks necessary to pressure pressure vessel, pipe, or structural components assembled to a pressure vessel prior to welding. Responsibilities
- Proficient in basic math
- Must be able to create a lay-out on a vessel
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Safely operate all shop equipment. Skills
- Must be able to pass a Vessel Fitting test.
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Good at math with analytical abilities
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
