Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in masonry work, including the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and will be proficient in various construction techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, from new builds to renovations, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials according to specifications and blueprints. Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as required for various projects. Install rebar and assist with heavy equipment operation when necessary. Execute hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct plastering and stucco applications for both interior and exterior surfaces. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while maintaining safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects. Engage in renovation work as needed, restoring existing structures to meet client specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in masonry with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficient in construction estimating and understanding project requirements. Familiarity with carpentry techniques including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing. Experience with tile laying and caulking is preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Previous construction site experience is essential for this role.
