Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Mason to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of masonry tasks, including concrete work, bricklaying, stone masonry, and related building material installation. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects such as renovations, restorations, and new construction. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry tasks Perform concrete finishing, forming, rebar installation, and concrete masonry work with precision and efficiency Install building materials such as brick, stone, stucco, plaster, tile, and trim carpentry components in accordance with project specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, scaffolding for masonry scaffold building, and welding equipment safely and effectively Execute mortar work including laying bricks and stones with proper alignment and adherence to safety standards Conduct restoration and renovation projects by applying expertise in masonry and carpentry techniques Adhere strictly to safety protocols while working on construction sites to ensure a secure environment for all team members Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on masonry or related trades such as concrete work or restoration projects Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, plastering, caulking, roofing, framing carpentry (including metal stud framing), and tile laying Familiarity with building material installation including mortar work, bricklaying, stone masonry, stucco application, and trim carpentry Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment safely while maintaining high standards of quality Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols specific to construction sites involving masonry activities Experience working with blueprints and interpreting specification details accurately for diverse project requirements Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your masonry expertise to impactful projects!
