This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new builds to renovation and restoration efforts. As a Brick Mason Laborer, you will assist skilled masons with foundational tasks, site preparation, and finishing touches, ensuring that each project progresses smoothly and efficiently. This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their construction skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and setting up formwork for masonry structures Support skilled masons with laying bricks, blocks, and tiles accurately according to schematics and blueprints Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to prepare work sites and complete tasks efficiently Perform concrete finishing, plastering, stucco application, and caulking to achieve smooth surfaces and durable finishes Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of masonry work Help with metal stud framing, trim carpentry, roofing support, and other related renovation or restoration activities Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of debris Skills Strong knowledge of construction practices including concrete forming, masonry techniques, and heavy equipment operation Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and safety protocols on construction sites Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise project execution Experience with rebar installation, tile laying, stucco application, and metal stud framing preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions diligently Knowledge of roofing systems, plastering techniques, restoration processes, and caulking methods is a plus This role offers an exciting chance to grow your skills in the construction industry while contributing to impactful projects.
