Duties Lay bricks, blocks, stone, and other masonry materials according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Prepare surfaces and foundations using hand tools and power tools for optimal masonry installation Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) and perform concrete forming to support structural integrity Operate heavy equipment safely when required for lifting or moving materials on-site Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of work Assist with concrete finishing, stucco application, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks during renovation or restoration projects Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of masonry techniques such as bricklaying, blocklaying, stucco, and tile laying Familiarity with hand tools (trowels, hammers), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation as needed Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, roofing, and restoration processes is highly desirable Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials safely, and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in masonry and construction techniques Join us if you're passionate about building lasting structures!
