Skilled Brick and Block Mason Company Overview:

Paramount Masonry LLC specializes in structural masonry, foundations, chimney restoration, brick and block installation, stone work, and residential and commercial masonry repairs throughout Mid and Northern Michigan. We are seeking dependable individuals interested in building a long-term career in the masonry trade.

Primary Responsibilities:

Mix motar and stage materials Carry brick, block, stone and supplies Assemble and dismantle scaffolding safely Maintain clean, organized job sites Assist with brick, block, chimney and foundation projects Load/unload trucks and trailers Learn the masonry trade from experienced professionals

Qualifications:

Reliable transportation Dependable attendance Able to lift 80 lbs Comfortable working outdoors and on scaffolding Positive attitude Willingness to learn Construction experience is helpful but not required

Additional Information:

Minimum of 5 years of construction experience with a solid understanding of basic construction practices Ability to accurately read a tape measure and cut lumber to specifications Completion of a Building Trades program through a Skills Center/Career Center is a plus Have reliable transportation and the ability to report to work consistently Job sites vary and may be located within a 1.5-hour radius of the reporting location; travel to different job sites is required Demonstrate previous construction experience and provide details of relevant work history Provide three professional references with current, working contact information
