In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials on a variety of projects. Your skills will help shape resilient buildings and beautiful hardscape features, ensuring safety and excellence at every step. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical abilities and foster professional growth. Responsibilities Lay brick, block, stone, and other masonry units with precision using hand tools and power tools to create walls, facades, foundations, and decorative features. Install rebar reinforcement and perform concrete forming and finishing to ensure structural integrity. Execute mortar work with skillful application for bonding bricks and stones securely while maintaining aesthetic quality. Build masonry scaffolding safely around work sites to facilitate access for high or complex installations. Qualifications Proven experience in concrete masonry work including bricklaying. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels; power tools including saws and drills; and specialized equipment like scaffolding. Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, Experience with concrete forming processes and concrete masonry experience that ensures durable results. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites including proper scaffold building practices. Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials; comfortable working at heights; capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
