The Mason Laborer will work alongside experienced masons to support residential and commercial masonry projects from preparation through completion. This position involves preparing materials, maintaining tools and equipment, assisting with masonry and concrete work, and keeping job sites safe, clean, and organized. The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, able to work as part of a team, and comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding construction environment. Previous masonry or construction experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate. Responsibilities Assist masons with the preparation, installation, and repair of brick, block, stone, concrete, and other masonry materials Prepare and transport mortar, concrete, and other materials to work areas Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment Assist with mixing, pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete as directed Assist with bricklaying, block work, stone work, and other masonry tasks Measure, cut, and prepare materials using appropriate hand and power tools Assist with setting up, moving, and dismantling scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment Assist with rebar installation, concrete forming, and other related construction tasks Follow directions from masons and project supervisors to complete work accurately and efficiently Read and follow basic plans, drawings, measurements, and project specifications when required Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the workday Properly use, clean, and maintain hand tools, power tools, equipment, and job site materials Follow all company and job site safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment Assist with demolition, excavation, cleanup, renovation, and restoration work when needed Perform other duties related to masonry and construction as assigned Qualifications & Skills Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and learn new masonry techniques Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools Basic understanding of construction measurements and materials Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas when properly trained Previous masonry, concrete, or general construction experience is preferred but not required Experience with brick, block, stone, concrete, mortar, or rebar is a plus Valid driver's license is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions Ability to safely perform physically demanding construction tasks Ability to wear required personal protective equipment throughout the workday What We Offer Hands-on experience in masonry and construction Opportunity to learn and develop skilled trade experience Work alongside experienced masonry professionals Variety of residential and commercial projects Team-oriented work environment Paid position with opportunities for growth based on experience, skills, and performance About Fricioni Masonry LLC Fricioni Masonry LLC is committed to providing quality masonry workmanship while maintaining a safe, professional, and dependable work environment.
