9591500-45040 Job Description Make a positive impact by supporting students academic, social, and emotional success as a school psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and diverse student populations, ensuring children receive the resources and support they need to thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or license as a school psychologist Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results Knowledge of state and federal special education laws, policies, and procedures Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and behavioral intervention Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents Previous work within schools is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address students educational and behavioral needs Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and IEP team meetings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans Deliver individual and group counseling to support student development Offer crisis intervention and prevention strategies as required Provide consultation and professional development for school staff Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of services and assessment findings
