Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mason Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will provide essential support in various masonry and construction activities, helping to build durable structures and maintain a safe, efficient work environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the successful completion of diverse projects, from renovations to new builds. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in masonry, carpentry, and general construction while working alongside experienced professionals. Duties Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to create solid foundations and structures Support rebar installation efforts by cutting, bending, and placing reinforcement bars according to schematics and blueprints Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, grinding, and mixing materials Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or formwork systems Aid in the installation of stucco, plastering, tile laying, and other exterior or interior finishes Participate in heavy equipment operation under supervision for tasks like material transport or site preparation Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure construction environment for all team members Requirements Prior experience on construction sites or in masonry-related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for eager learners Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics to assist with project setup and execution Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is advantageous Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods Strong understanding of construction safety practices and protocols Willingness to learn new skills such as concrete finishing, metal stud framing, roofing, or restoration work Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards supporting project goals Join us if you're ready to build your career in construction!
