Job Description
G & J Development, Inc. is seeking an experienced Framer to join our construction team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled individual with solid commercial framing experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and safety. This is a full-time position working on projects in Tucson and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Perform framing work for commercial construction projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install studs and track according to project plans. Frame walls, partitions, door and window openings, soffits, and other components. Perform layout and accurately follow measurements. Read and work from construction plans and drawings. Ensure framing is properly aligned, level, and plumb. Safely operate hand and power tools. Work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on framing experience required. Solid experience with commercial framing and metal stud framing . Ability to perform layout and measurements accurately. Ability to read construction plans and drawings. Proficient with framing tools and equipment. Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing and able to travel to job sites throughout Tucson and surrounding areas. Must meet applicable pre-employment requirements.
