Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of carpentry tasks that bring construction projects to life. Your expertise will ensure that structures are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and metal building erection to remodeling and finish carpentry, all while honing your craft in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional craftsmanship. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Construct, install, repair, and remodel structures using hand tools and power tools across various materials including wood, metal, concrete, and masonry. Erect metal buildings and perform metal stud framing with precision and adherence to safety standards. Prepare concrete forms, install rebar reinforcement, and oversee concrete finishing processes to ensure durability and quality. Perform framing tasks for walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components with dimensional measurements and trim carpentry skills. Manage rebar installation, masonry work, plastering, and drywall finishing as required by project scope. Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret technical drawings and follow construction plans effectively. Conduct heavy lifting safely while maintaining a focus on site safety protocols at all times. Skills Proven experience in construction site work with a strong background in carpentry including frame carpentry and remodeling projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans; ability to interpret detailed specifications. Skilled in metal building erection, metal stud framing, rebar installation, masonry work, welding, and concrete forming/finishing. Familiarity with hand tools such as tape measures for dimensional measurements; adept at using power tools safely and efficiently. Knowledge of plastering, woodworking techniques, drywall installation/remodeling, and trim carpentry. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices; capable of heavy lifting when required. Pay:
