This position is ideal for a skilled carpenter who is comfortable working independently, maintaining a high level of attention to detail, and completing work efficiently during overnight hours. The Carpenter will perform a variety of commercial carpentry and finish work while following project plans, safety requirements, and established quality standards. Responsibilities Perform commercial carpentry, installation, and construction work during overnight shifts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and project specifications. Install and repair doors, frames, cabinets, millwork, trim, partitions, and other commercial fixtures. Perform rough and finish carpentry as needed. Complete demolition, removal, and preparation work when required. Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and project specifications. Work independently while staying on schedule and meeting project deadlines. Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements. Properly maintain and transport personal tools and equipment. Requirements 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred. Strong knowledge of general carpentry and construction practices. Experience with both rough and finish carpentry. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements. Proficient with common hand and power tools. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work overnight hours consistently. Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials as required. OSHA 10 certification is a plus. Must be comfortable working in active commercial construction environments.
