PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is hiring Carpenters for a contractor in Newman, CA . We're looking for dependable, skilled candidates with experience in wood framing, structural components, and reading shop drawings. This is a 2+ month opportunity starting asap! What You'll Do Build structural wood framing and finish components Assemble wall panels, floor cassettes, and roof truss sub-assemblies Work from cut sheets, panel assembly prints, and component drawings Read and interpret shop drawings Verify dimensions, stud placement, and door/window opening specifications Maintain accurate measurements and quality workmanship Prepare completed components for bundling and transportation to jobsites Follow all jobsite and shop safety procedures Tools You'll Need Candidates should have their own: Nail gun Skill saw / circular saw Sawzall / reciprocating saw Tool bag Hammer Speed square Tape measure Basic carpenter hand tools Why Work With PeopleReady Skilled Trades? $24/hour Weekly pay Consistent full-time opportunity during the assignment Health insurance benefits Opportunities to work with established contractors Access to PRST's Respect the Craft recognition program
