In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise in various carpentry techniques will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, including metal building erection, remodeling, and custom woodworking. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that require attention to detail, safety awareness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal studs, framing components, trim, and other building materials using hand tools and power tools. Perform metal building erection including rebar installation and metal stud framing with precision. Construct concrete forms and assist with concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing surfaces and setting forms. Execute masonry work including laying bricks or blocks as specified in project plans. Install rebar reinforcement in concrete structures following safety standards and technical specifications. Conduct remodeling tasks by removing old fixtures, framing new openings, or installing new finishes with attention to detail. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when required for large or heavy materials. Read construction plans accurately and interpret technical drawings for proper material measurements and placement. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Experience Proven experience in carpentry or related construction roles with a focus on framing, trim carpentry, or remodeling projects. Strong knowledge of metal building erection processes including metal stud framing and rebar installation. Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and finishing procedures. Hands-on experience with masonry work, plastering, woodworking, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Competence in basic math skills such as measurements, calculations for dimensions, and understanding construction specifications. Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety practices and protocols.
