The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a proven ability to work on projects from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on construction sites. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all carpentry work meets quality standards and is completed on schedule. Most of our jobs are in Ocean Beach and Point Loma with the occasional job a few miles away. We offer a really great working environment with great people. Benefits include a 401(k) and a gas card. We are seeking an individual who is organized and neat in appearance. Must have a vehicle (truck prefered) and a valid driver's license. Your own hand tools and basic power tools are required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the trades is required. Spanish speakers are welcome but it's not a requirement. Bonus if you have knowledge of other trades like plumbing or electrical, but also not required. Qualifications Proficient in blueprint reading with a strong understanding of construction plans. Knowledgeable in drywall installation techniques and concrete forming processes. Strong ability to assemble structures accurately based on specifications. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Able to lift at least 50 lbs. Able to maintain a clean and orderly job site.
