We run our own showroom and warehouse and we sell American made cabinetry. When a completed job needs attention, our service technician is the person who makes it right. We are hiring one. This is skilled finish work, not production installation. You will spend your days in finished homes solving problems that require a carpenter's eye and a level head, then leaving the homeowner glad they chose us. Real cabinetry from American manufacturers, and the standard is invisible repair. Nobody should be able to tell you were there. No selling. This role carries no quota, no commission and no pressure to upsell. Fix it, document it, move on. Benefits. Questions get answered the same day instead of disappearing into a corporate queue. What you will do Diagnose and resolve cabinetry warranty and service issues in completed kitchens and baths Perform door and drawer adjustments, alignment and finish touch up Remove and replace cabinet doors, drawers, drawer guides, hinges and other hardware Modify cabinets and drawers to suit field conditions Remove and replace previously installed cabinets, doors, drawer fronts, panels and moldings Install cabinetry, moldings and cabinet hardware Document each service call with photographs and written notes on a company phone or tablet Communicate directly with homeowners, builders and our design team, and represent BKC in the customer's home What you bring 4 or more years of cabinet installation, trim carpentry or finish carpentry experience Comfort working face to face with homeowners inside their homes Working comfort with a smartphone or tablet for scheduling, photos and service notes Valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record acceptable to our insurance carrier A calm, professional, problem solving attitude. You often meet the customer on the worst day of their project. Schedule and location Monday through Friday, based out of our Englewood shop. Service area is primarily the Denver metro but there will be occasional travel outside this area. Compensation $22-$27 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime paid at time and a half for hours over 40 in a week and over 12 in a day. Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance with a company contribution toward the premium; the employee pays the balance by payroll deduction. Several medical plan options are offered, including HSA eligible high deductible plans.
