Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Door Builder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about craftsmanship and precision. They will have a strong understanding of manufacturing, mechanical systems, and materials handling. Experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or warehouse operations is strongly preferred. This job is a crucial to ensuring our products meet quality standards and customer specifications. We offer a team-oriented work environment that values safety and strong work ethics. Responsibilities Prepare materials for pre-hung door orders Assemble and finish pre-hung door units using door machinery and hand tools Measure and cut materials with precision Safely operate forklifts and all other shop equipment Keep work areas clean and organized Assist with loading/unloading trucks, stocking materials, helping customers pull and load orders, and other shop duties as needed Qualifications Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods. This is a physically demanding position. Experience with hand and power tools; woodworking experience preferred Knowledge of materials handling procedures and warehouse operations Previous door-building experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person Forklift experience/certification preferred Ability to read a tape measure Familiarity with Norfield door machines is a plus Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and be a team player willing to help as needed. Work Environment This is an indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment with exposure to seasonal temperatures, wood dust, and noise from production equipment.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
