Scope of work varies. Comfortable with Power Tools, Valid Drivers License, Reliable transportation to shop in Seymour CT Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Conduct repairs and maintenance on building interior systems, including walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, windows, and cabinetry using carpentry skills. Perform electrical work such as wiring, troubleshooting electrical equipment, repairing electrical systems, and reading schematics. Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, repairing components, and ensuring optimal operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. Carry out plumbing repairs including leak detection, pipe repair or replacement, fixture installation, and plumbing system maintenance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks with precision while adhering to safety standards. Perform welding tasks when necessary for structural repairs or fabrication projects. Conduct facilities equipment maintenance including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters. Assist with painting projects such as touch-ups or full interior painting to enhance building aesthetics. Follow schematics and technical manuals accurately to diagnose issues and implement solutions efficiently. Support customer service efforts by communicating clearly with clients or team members regarding work progress or technical issues. Requirements Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters. Strong understanding of plumbing system maintenance and repair procedures. Experience with maintenance painting including residential or commercial environments. Can work without Supervision. Plan on moving from full time employee to a 1099 employee
