Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set in construction and maintenance, with experience in various maintenance person tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently to complete projects on time while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties. Execute construction tasks including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete projects accurately. Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation as required. Install fixtures, doors, and trim carpentry with precision. Carry out flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry work. Apply caulking and plastering techniques for finishing touches. Utilize airless paint spraying for painting tasks while ensuring a clean workspace. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Qualifications Proven maintenance person experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in construction estimating and understanding of construction site operations. Experience in various areas including but not limited to frame carpentry, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, plumbing, stucco application, and remodeling. Familiarity with restoration industry practices is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks as required. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
