In this pivotal role, you will oversee and execute a wide range of carpentry projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency on every job site. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, from framing and drywall installation to finishing touches. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead teams, interpret detailed plans, and bring construction visions to life with precision and enthusiasm. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate carpentry crews in the installation of framing, drywall, siding, trim, roofing, and other structural elements. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution. Manage daily operations on-site, including scheduling work tasks, supervising team members, and maintaining project timelines. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Ensure quality standards are met through meticulous measurements using tape measures and other tools; perform dimensional measurements for precision. Oversee site safety practices, including heavy lifting procedures and proper handling of materials like masonry, stucco, siding, and drywall. Collaborate with project managers to interpret construction plans and modify work as needed for project success. Conduct restoration or remodeling tasks with attention to detail; ensure all work aligns with client expectations. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout each phase of construction. Requirements Proven experience in construction with a strong background in carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, drywall installation, masonry, plastering, and remodeling. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; interpret technical drawings for precise execution of projects. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various carpentry tasks; experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Strong knowledge of construction plans and schematics; capable of performing dimensional measurements with accuracy. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively on busy job sites. Physical stamina for heavy lifting; capable of working at heights or in confined spaces as required by project scope. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to framing and material quantities. Valid construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols; familiarity with metal building erection is advantageous. Certification in relevant areas such as OSHA safety standards or specialized trade certifications is preferred but not mandatory.
