This role combines hands-on rough and finish carpentry with field leadership to supervise daily job site activities, manage plans and materials, and communicate effectively across project teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high quality finish and rough carpentry work.
Serve as the lead carpenter and primary field leader. This position would lead to becoming a superintendent - overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. (If you are currently a superintendent, we are happy to consider you for an immediate superintendent role).Supervise and direct carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors.
Read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
Assist with material take-offs, ordering, and material management.
Coordinate daily work activities and maintain job site productivity.
Communicate with project manager and company management regarding job progress, materials, and scheduling.
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed correctly and on schedule.
Communicate professionally with homeowners (clients) and the design team.
Problem solver with the ability to identify potential problems before they become costly issues.
