About the Riviera Country Club Located in the prestige and historic City of Coral Gables, the tradition of the Riviera Country Club since its inception in 1945 has been to provide a second home to its large family of members. We have a proud history recognized for excellence, prestige and fun in all our areas of Dining, Golf, Aquatics and Tennis. We offer a fresh approach to luxury and personalized service. The Riviera Country Club is interested in hiring a Carpenter Assistant who dependable, hands-on, detail-oriented, and willing to learn . This role requires someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced club environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist with general carpentry repairs and maintenance projects throughout the Club Assist with installation of shelving, hardware, drywall, woodwork, and related materials Support preventative maintenance projects and facility improvements Assist with painting, patching, sanding, and finishing work as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Follow all Club safety policies and OSHA guidelines Assist other Engineering team members with general maintenance duties when needed Support special events setup and breakdown as assigned Utilize the Club's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) — Eptura — to review, update, document, and close work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Qualifications Previous carpentry, construction, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and repair techniques preferred Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently Good communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and punctuality required Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays if needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely operate tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment Work Environment This position works throughout the Club property in both indoor and outdoor environments. Work may involve exposure to dust, noise, construction materials, chemicals, and maintenance equipment. Proper safety procedures and personal protective equipment must always be followed
