In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of concrete-related tasks that are essential to the successful completion of construction projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise craftsmanship, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial developments to renovation initiatives, contributing directly to the creation of durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete and masonry work. Construct formwork and scaffolding for concrete pouring, ensuring stability and adherence to specifications. Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprint specifications, maintaining structural integrity. Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently during various phases of construction. Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision using specialized tools and techniques. Cut, shape, and install concrete components such as slabs, curbs, stairs, and decorative hardscape features. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and your team. Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete carpentry or masonry work. Strong mechanical knowledge related to concrete mixing, pumping, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, rebar installation techniques, and heavy lifting procedures. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to collaborate with project managers on material needs and timelines. Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Experience operating heavy equipment such as concrete pumps or mixers is a plus.
