Structall Building Systems is a manufacturer and distributor of building materials specializing in Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) and related aluminum building products. We are seeking an Aluminum Mod-Room Carpenter to join our production team at our Oldsmar, Florida facility. This is a hands-on production and construction position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, building things, learning new skills, and taking pride in producing a quality finished product. The successful candidate will work as part of our Mod-Room production operation, building custom rooms and other structures utilizing Structall's insulated panel systems and aluminum building materials. Position Overview The Aluminum Mod-Room Carpenter will work with a team to fabricate and assemble rooms and other structures using Structall's proprietary insulated panels and related building materials. This position provides the opportunity to learn and develop skills in several areas of construction and manufacturing, including: Carpentry Aluminum fabrication Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) construction Window and door installation Electrical installation Flooring Trim and finish work General construction techniques Previous experience in all of these areas is not required . We are willing to train someone who demonstrates a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, dependability, and a willingness to learn. Primary Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble custom Mod-Rooms using Structall insulated panels and aluminum building materials. Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials according to production requirements. Perform basic carpentry and construction work. Install windows and doors. Assist with electrical installation as required for Mod-Room construction. Install flooring and interior finishes. Perform trim and finish work to produce a professional finished product. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. Read measurements and follow basic plans and production instructions. Inspect completed work for fit, finish, and quality. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Assist other members of the production team as needed. Follow Structall safety, quality, and production standards. A Hands-On Position This is a physical, hands-on role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable spending the workday on their feet and actively participating in the construction and assembly process. The successful candidate must be able to: Perform physical construction and production work throughout the workday. Work safely with hand and power tools. Measure materials accurately. Lift and maneuver building materials. Work effectively as part of a production team. Maintain attention to detail while meeting production expectations. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate: Carpentry Construction Aluminum fabrication Manufacturing or production Window and door installation Flooring installation Electrical work Trim and finish carpentry Insulated panel construction Experience working with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) or aluminum building products is a plus but is not required. Quality & Craftsmanship At Structall, the quality of the finished product matters. The Aluminum Mod-Room Carpenter is expected to take ownership of their work by: Checking measurements before making cuts. Paying attention to fit and finish. Identifying problems before they become larger issues. Keeping tools, materials, and the work area organized. Protecting materials from unnecessary damage or waste. Looking for better and more efficient ways to complete the work. Taking pride in the appearance and quality of every completed Mod-Room.
