The ideal candidate will have strong woodworking skills and hands-on experience with staining, painting, sealing, sanding, and applying professional finishes. Responsibilities Build, install, repair, and restore custom woodwork, cabinetry, furniture, doors, trim, and other wooden structures. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood materials according to specifications. Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling, repairing, and cleaning. Apply stains, paints, sealers, varnishes, lacquers, and other finishes. Match existing colors, stains, and finishes when completing repairs or restoration work. Operate woodworking tools and equipment safely and accurately. Read measurements, drawings, and project specifications. Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality, professional finish. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Complete projects efficiently while meeting quality standards and deadlines. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous professional woodworking, cabinetry, or finish carpentry experience required. Strong experience with wood finishing, including staining, painting, sealing, varnishing, and refinishing. Knowledge of different wood types, materials, finishes, and application techniques. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to take accurate measurements and follow project specifications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred. Ability to lift and carry materials and work in various physical positions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Compensation Competitive pay based on experience.
