Responsibilities Execute carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing various wood and other material components with accuracy and attention to detail Perform floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, and cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance Handle cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners efficiently and safely Apply floor care techniques using appropriate chemicals for different surfaces, ensuring optimal results while adhering to safety protocols for chemical agent handling Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture, flooring materials, and cleaning supplies to support maintenance activities Use environmentally friendly cleaning products and follow proper disposal procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally Experience Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking, demonstrating proficiency in measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing materials Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience with a focus on floor care including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing floors Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners Knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals and proper handling techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks Experience in environmental services or janitorial roles emphasizing thoroughness and attention to detail Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients Join us in creating safe, clean, and beautifully crafted environments!
