Overview We are looking for an experienced, versatile Lead Carpenter to join our team. This is not a repetitive installation position — we're looking for a skilled carpenter and problem solver who enjoys taking on a variety of custom projects. Responsibilities Build and install custom exterior door surrounds, façades, trim packages, columns, and architectural details Build and modify porches, porticos, overhangs, steps, and exterior structures Handle specialty door installations, framing modifications, and challenging trim-out projects Complete punch-list, service, and finish carpentry work Install door glass, sidelites and transoms Assist our door shop with custom door builds, fabrication, prototypes, and specialty projects Lead Home Depot display builds, remodels, and installations Build and update showroom displays and facility projects Troubleshoot unusual field conditions and develop solutions Create material lists and plan projects from start to finish Lead helpers or additional carpenters when needed What we're looking for Strong experience in residential remodeling, finish carpentry, framing, or exterior construction Door installation experience strongly preferred Skilled with trim, wood, PVC/composite materials, and standard carpentry tools Ability to measure, plan, and complete projects independently Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Professional appearance and communication with customers Valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to safely lift and handle doors, lumber, and construction materials Why This Role Is Different This position is for someone who likes variety and ownership . One day may involve building a custom front-entry surround, the next a porch or specialty trim project, followed by a difficult door installation, shop fabrication project, or Home Depot display build. Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
