Job Description
About this role Seeking an experienced interior carpenter to join a construction crew in Cartersville, GA. You will install and finish interior structures-trim, doors, cabinetry, millwork and drywall-on active job sites. Work is hands-on and detail-oriented; quality fit-and-finish is expected. This is a site-based role with a stable schedule (typical Monday-Friday with possible overtime). You must have your own basic hand tools, reliable transportation to the site, and be prepared to follow site safety procedures and site-specific training. Immediate openings for candidates with solid finish carpentry experience. What you'll do Read plans and layout interior framing, trim, doors, windows, cabinets and built-ins to specification Measure, cut and install finish materials-trim, molding, door hardware, casing, base and stair components Install and finish gypsum board, trim joints, and apply basic sanding and prep for paint or stain Set and adjust doors, frames, and hardware; ensure proper alignment and smooth operation Maintain and care for hand and power tools; keep work area organized and safe Coordinate with other trades on site and report progress or issues to the foreman or superintendent What we're looking for Proven interior finish carpentry experience on commercial or residential projects Comfortable using hand and power tools, levels, squares, saws and measuring devices Able to read basic blueprints and layout interior work to specifications Physically able to lift, carry and maneuver materials and stand for long periods Reliable transportation to Cartersville job sites and punctual attendance Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred OSHA 10-hour construction safety card preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Forklift, scissor-lift or other equipment certifications a plus Spanish language skills helpful but not required What we offer Health, dental and vision options available 401(k) plan with employer match Paid time off and recognized holidays Overtime opportunities and consistent weekly hours Tool/boot allowance and site-provided PPE Ready to apply?
