Job Description
Cutting Edge Painting & Industrial Coatings is looking to add an Experienced Carpenter to our growing team! We are seeking a dependable, skilled carpenter who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently as well as alongside our team. This position will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout Iowa and surrounding areas. Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry work on residential and commercial projects
- Complete framing, trim, finish carpentry, and other interior and exterior carpentry work
- Install and repair doors, trim, baseboards, cabinetry, and other building components
- Perform wood and structural repairs as needed
- Read measurements, plans, and project specifications accurately
- Determine materials and tools needed to complete assigned work
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
- Troubleshoot issues that arise in the field and determine appropriate solutions
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Communicate effectively with project managers, other trades, customers, and team members
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining Cutting Edge's standards for quality and workmanship Qualifications
- Previous professional carpentry experience required
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and equipment
- Experience with both rough and finish carpentry preferred
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, build, install, and repair
- Ability to work independently and confidently complete assigned projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

$21.00- $39.
