Cutting Edge Painting & Industrial Coatings is looking to add an Experienced Carpenter to our growing team! We are seeking a dependable, skilled carpenter who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently as well as alongside our team. This position will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout Iowa and surrounding areas. Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry work on residential and commercial projects
• Complete framing, trim, finish carpentry, and other interior and exterior carpentry work
• Install and repair doors, trim, baseboards, cabinetry, and other building components
• Perform wood and structural repairs as needed
• Read measurements, plans, and project specifications accurately
• Determine materials and tools needed to complete assigned work
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
• Troubleshoot issues that arise in the field and determine appropriate solutions
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Communicate effectively with project managers, other trades, customers, and team members
• Complete projects efficiently while maintaining Cutting Edge's standards for quality and workmanship Qualifications
• Previous professional carpentry experience required
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and equipment
• Experience with both rough and finish carpentry preferred
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, build, install, and repair
• Ability to work independently and confidently complete assigned projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
