Overview Join our dynamic team as a Traveling Lead Carpenter and take charge of delivering exceptional carpentry craftsmanship across diverse residential projects. This is a full-time traveling position. This energetic role offers the opportunity to lead on-site teams, interpret construction plans, and execute high-quality remodeling tasks. As a Traveling Lead Carpenter, you will be the driving force behind efficient project completion, ensuring safety standards are met while inspiring your crew to achieve excellence. If you thrive on hands-on work, problem-solving, and leading by example, this position is perfect for you! Duties Lead and coordinate carpentry and subcontractor crews on multiple commercial construction projects across different locations nationwide, ensuring timely and quality work Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to guide project execution Utilize hand tools, power tools, complete framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, fixture installation tasks, etc. Ensure adherence to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of all equipment during daily operations Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with framing, door hanging, drywall and remodeling projects. Maintain clear communication with project managers regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs Experience Extensive construction experience with a focus on carpentry including framing, trim work, drywall finishing, flooring installation, and painting Proven ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately to interpret project specifications Skilled in operating hand tools as well as power tools for woodworking and construction site machinery Knowledge of safety standards related to power tools and heavy lifting procedures in a construction environment Demonstrated leadership skills with previous roles involving crew supervision or project coordination in residential settings Ability to travel frequently between job sites while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects across various locations while honing your carpentry expertise. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
