Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a carpenter/apprentice carpenter to join our construction team! Work is performed on job sites primarily in Newton County, IN. In this role, you will be working on various job sites performing tasks related to home remodel construction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize a wide range of tools and techniques to complete each custom remodel. this is a contract position with the potential for it to become a full time hourly employee position . The ideal candidate wants to learn and grow with the company as we transition into the next stages. We are looking for someone that is willing to go above and beyond, work long hours often in the elements, take direction and work well as part of a team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with your hands, work hard and want to be a part of a growing business this will be an excellent fit. Duties Conduct carpentry tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, painting, demolition work, and drywall installation and more Work to maintain job site cleanliness Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction activities while maintaining safety standards assist with job site organization and materials planning Qualifications This roll is open to individuals with little or no construction experience required but are motivated to learn in a hands on setting Personal tools are not required but extremely beneficial Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and general construction Time management skills Ability to work efficiently while maintaining safe working practices-OSHA training and certifications are strongly considered
