Full-Time Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials across a variety of residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, strong knowledge of building practices, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications Build and install frameworks, including walls, floors, and door/window structures Install cabinets, trim, molding, and other finish carpentry elements Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches Inspect and replace damaged framework or structures as needed Ensure structures are level, square, and properly aligned Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow all safety protocols and building codes

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction or a related field Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Basic math skills and attention to detail Strong problem-solving abilities and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
