SKILLED CARPENTER - FRAMING & EXTERIORS

Luxe Built is hiring an experienced carpenter to join our remodeling and exterior construction team in the Louisville area. We are looking for someone with strong experience in framing and exterior construction, particularly decks, windows, exterior doors, siding, and related work. This person will work alongside our working site supervisor and other carpenters on a variety of residential remodeling and exterior projects. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality work, works well with a team, and can complete assigned tasks without requiring constant supervision. Primary Responsibilities Wood framing for remodeling projects, additions, decks, porches, and exterior structures Build and repair decks, stairs, railings, and related components Install windows and exterior doors Perform siding, exterior trim, soffit, fascia, and other exterior work Complete demolition, structural repairs, blocking, sheathing, and weatherproofing Assist with interior carpentry and general remodeling work when needed Identify jobsite issues and communicate them to the site supervisor Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite Protect customers' homes and property throughout construction Help load, unload, and organize tools and materials Complete punch-list and warranty items as assigned Preferred Experience Residential framing and exterior construction experience Deck, porch, window, and door installation experience Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements, and lay out work Understanding of proper flashing and water-management practices Comfortable using common carpentry and construction tools Able to work independently after receiving direction Experience with remodeling, siding, trim, drywall, flooring, or other trades is a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to lift construction materials and work outdoors in varying conditions What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Quality-focused with strong attention to detail Willing to learn and help in areas outside of their primary trade Comfortable working in occupied homes and communicating professionally with customers Team-oriented and respectful Able to solve problems without cutting corners Interested in growing with the company and taking on additional responsibility About Luxe Built Luxe Built is a growing design-build remodeling and exterior construction company serving the Louisville area.
