Job Summary We are seeking an Experienced Finished Carpenter/Framer to join our team on a full-time day shift basis. This role involves executing precise carpentry and framing tasks for residential projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to construction plans. The ideal candidate will bring extensive construction experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This position requires an experienced carpenter who can independently perform projects from initial layout and framing through final finish installation. The individual must have strong attention to detail and be capable of producing high-quality finished work that meets company and customer expectations. Responsibilities Perform high-quality finish carpentry and framing for commercial renovation, maintenance, and improvement projects. Lay out and construct wood and metal stud walls, partitions, openings, soffits, blocking, and other framed structures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, specifications, and work orders. Accurately measure, calculate, lay out, cut, fit, assemble, and install materials. Install interior and exterior doors, frames, jambs, casing, and hardware. Install baseboards, crown molding, trim, chair rail, paneling, and other architectural finishes. Install cabinets, countertops, shelving, casework, and related components. Perform custom fitting and modification of finish materials when existing conditions require field adjustments. Perform detailed miter, coping, scribing, and finish work. Repair or replace damaged doors, trim, cabinets, framing, woodwork, and other building components. Perform demolition and preparation work required for renovation projects. Frame openings and prepare areas for drywall, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other finishes. Make field modifications while maintaining the appearance and integrity of the finished product. Match existing finishes and architectural details when performing repairs and renovations. Identify and correct workmanship issues before project completion. Perform final adjustments to doors, cabinets, hardware, trim, and other installed components. Complete punch-list items and final project corrections. Determine materials, tools, equipment, and supplies needed to complete assigned work. Minimize waste through accurate measurements, planning, cutting, and material management. Maintain tools and equipment in clean and safe operating condition. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Protect customer property and occupied areas from dust, debris, and damage. Communicate project status, material needs, field conditions, and potential change-of-scope issues to management. Coordinate work with painters, drywall installers, HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as required. Complete assigned projects within established quality, productivity, and scheduling expectations. Follow all company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements. Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional carpentry experience preferred , with demonstrated experience in both finish carpentry and framing. Strong finish carpentry skills are required. Demonstrated ability to produce professional-quality finished work. Experience with wood and/or metal stud framing. Experience installing doors, frames, trim, molding, cabinets, shelving, and architectural finishes. Ability to perform detailed miter cuts, coping, scribing, fitting, and finish work. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform construction-related calculations. Ability to use levels, squares, lasers, and other layout tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and specifications. Proficiency with carpentry hand and power tools. Ability to independently determine the appropriate sequence and method for completing assigned work. Ability to identify problems and develop practical field solutions without compromising finished quality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship. Good communication and customer-service skills. Reliable attendance and ability to travel to assigned customer locations. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record when operation of a company vehicle is required. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
