Field Technician / Handyman About High Bridge Development High Bridge Development is a high-end design-build remodeling company specializing in luxury renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and whole-home remodels throughout the Louisville area. We take pride in craftsmanship, professionalism, communication, clean job sites, and delivering an exceptional client experience from start to finish. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable and versatile Field Technician / Handyman to support active remodeling projects, complete punch list items, assist with logistics, and help keep jobs running smoothly. Position Summary The Field Technician / Handyman plays an important role in our day-to-day field operations. This position includes a mix of handyman work, punch list completion, material pickups, job site support, light carpentry, small repairs, and general project assistance. This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality work, and can stay productive without constant supervision. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, organized, professional, and comfortable working in occupied homes and active remodeling environments. This position requires travel between job sites, vendors, and suppliers throughout the Louisville area. Responsibilities Field & Job Site Support Complete handyman, warranty, and punch list tasks independently Assist lead carpenters and project managers with daily project needs Perform light carpentry, trim work, drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, demolition, and miscellaneous repairs Help maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Assist with material staging, site protection, and project preparation Identify small issues before they become bigger problems Material & Logistics Coordination Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers and vendors Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials Assist with deliveries, returns, dumpster coordination, and job site logistics Track and communicate material shortages or job site needs Help keep projects moving by supporting the field team wherever needed Team & Client Interaction Represent High Bridge Development professionally on job sites and at supplier locations Communicate respectfully with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and team members Maintain a clean, courteous, and solutions-oriented attitude Follow direction from project managers and lead carpenters while also taking initiative when appropriate Qualifications Required Qualifications Basic carpentry, handyman, construction, or remodeling experience Ability to safely use common hand and power tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation to and from work/job sites Ability to lift and carry materials, tools, and supplies up to 75 lbs Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day Good communication and organizational skills Professional appearance and attitude when working around clients Bonus Qualifications Residential remodeling experience Punch list or warranty work experience Trailer towing experience Trim carpentry experience Drywall repair or paint touch-up experience Experience working in high-end or occupied homes Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Cell phone stipend Company vehicle and paid gas, depending on role and experience Paid holidays PTO Growth opportunities within a rapidly growing remodeling company Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who: Takes initiative without needing constant supervision Enjoys solving problems and staying productive Takes pride in quality workmanship Is dependable, punctual, and organized Works well with clients, subcontractors, and team members Wants to grow within a professional remodeling company Understands that small details matter on high-end remodeling projects To Apply Visit https://highbridgedev.com/jobs
