Immediately Job Description Description of Service Opportunity:
CPSD is looking for a highly skilled carpenter to primarily works on schools doors and associated hardware, locks, keys, etc. at least two days a week until the 12/31/2026. Other carpentry tasks may be assigned and performed as priorities arise.
Requirements:
A candidate must have at least 15 years of carpentry experience. Previous experience and extensive knowledge of door hardware, locks, door closers, key cutting, and other locksmith tasks highly desirable. Must poses other carpentry knowledge and skills such as framing, sheetrocking, taping, mudding, sanding, painting, woodworking, etc. Must have a valid driver's license. Knowledge of Hazardous Communications and working around asbestos is preferable.
Length of Contract:
August 31, 2026 through December 31, 2026 Contract Amount Not Exceed $20384.00 Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours
