In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of construction, repair, and renovation tasks across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Utilize hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, fixture installation, and general carpentry tasks. Perform residential carpentry work including door hanging, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall repairs. Conduct restoration projects such as water damage remediation, and plastering. Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed at all times while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Support remodeling projects by installing flooring, tiles, cabinetry, doors, siding, or other building materials as needed. Contribute to water damage restoration efforts by assessing damage and performing necessary repairs or fabrications. Experience Proven experience in construction or handyman roles with a focus on residential or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and flooring. Hands-on experience with woodworking tools (hand tools and power tools). Knowledge of safety standards related to power tools usage (power tool safety) and general construction site safety practices. Experience in restoration industry tasks such as water damage restoration, plastering, or drywall is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of construction work. Prior involvement in remodeling projects involving tile laying, fixture installation (lighting fixtures or appliances), siding replacement or repair is preferred.
