GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Are you tired of chasing outstanding invoices and billing concerns that monopolize your time?? Enjoy finishing work and are detailed oriented? We are currently seeking an experienced carpenter that can start immediately and is seeking consistent and ongoing full-time work. In this role, you will perform general carpentry and detailed finish work in residential and commercial reconstruction jobs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet with customers and adjusters and update them as needed Schedule and manage all subcontractors Determine the projected labor budget and review profitability for each job Visit job sites daily to ensure projects are progressing on schedule and according to plan.
Ensure that all applicable documentation is properly and completely filled out Bring attention to management any employees that are not following protocols Ensure all projects are properly closed out Communicate daily with customers to keep them informed as to project progress and to address any concerns or questions that they may have. Collect work authorizations, job documentation, daily reports, jobsite pictures on a daily basis and upload them to the network. Perform a final walk-through of every job to ensure that all work was completed satisfactorily and in accordance with the defined job scope. Address and final questions or concerns that the customer may have and obtain a completed Customer Satisfaction Survey. Ensure that company equipment, vehicles, and work areas are kept neat, clean, and in working order and in "Ready Status" at all times. Ensure that Technicians are wearing proper PPE. Additional tasks as determined by Management.
COMPETENCIES
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut and install/assemble Ability to self-supervise, motivate and prioritize your tasks to not require constant supervision at the job site Ability to stay on task, organized and hold yourself accountable for your duties Attention to detail and noticeable display of effort and efficiency in your daily work Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to and from our facility Ability and willingness to work overtime, when necessary, to deliver the project on time and within budget Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds Knowledge of lumber grades and general building materials

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 2 years minimum experience working in general contracting roles
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand fluent English Ability to work 40+ hours a week, without issue, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work Ability to pass CORI and Drug Test Valid driver's license, vehicle and a good driving record
