We're currently looking for an experienced Carpenter or Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. What You'll Do Perform residential remodeling and finish carpentry work Frame walls, windows, doors, and other structural components Install trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and custom millwork Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized job site Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule Lead Carpenter responsibilities may also include: Leading and coordinating small crews Managing daily job site activities Communicating professionally with homeowners and subcontractors Ensuring work meets Wentworth's quality standards Qualifications We're looking for candidates who have: Minimum of 3 years of residential remodeling experience Experience with framing, trim, cabinet installation, and finish carpentry Ability to accurately read a tape measure Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to travel to job sites throughout Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Southern Maryland Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Preferred for Lead Carpenter Candidates Experience leading crews or managing residential remodeling projects Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience coordinating with homeowners and subcontractors Tools Applicants should own their own carpentry tools appropriate for their experience level. Lead Carpenter candidates should have a complete working set of professional hand and power tools.
Compensation Carpenter:
$25.00-$28.00 per hour
Lead Carpenter:
$28.00-$32.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, skill level, and overall qualifications.
