Job Description
Job Overview CopperWood is currently hiring for three skilled and motivated Carpenters/Craftsmen to join our growing residential and commercial construction company. Looking for people with 5+ years experience and a wide range of skills from framing to finish work and everything in between. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and allow you to showcase your abilities in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have access to reliable transportation and their own tools. All positions are 1099/sub-contractor roles and are paid weekly. We value dedicated professionals who are eager to produce quality work while advancing their skills in a supportive environment. Duties Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, roofing, and drywall work. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, assembling, finishing and installing materials. Install fixtures such as cabinetry, doors, windows, and other structural or aesthetic elements. Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Skills Proficiency in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing, siding and metal work. Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate execution of tasks. Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders). Practical experience with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, plumbing and electrical is a bonus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on demanding job sites. Familiarity with CNC routers and 3D modeling programs for residential design is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project schematics.
