Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds. This role requires proficiency in using power tools, reading schematics, and a solid understanding of construction practices. If you are passionate about craftsmanship and have experience in the restoration industry, we want to hear from you. Duties Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Hang doors and install windows with precision. Form concrete for foundations and other structures as needed. Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electrical teams, to ensure project completion. Conduct construction estimating for materials and time required for projects. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications. Qualifications Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with door hanging techniques. Proficient in the use of various power tools and hand tools used in carpentry. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. Experience in the restoration industry is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
