Experienced Framer / Carpenter VT Construction LLC is looking for a motivated, dependable Framer/Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in residential construction and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys working as part of a team. Job Responsibilities As a member of our framing crew, you will assist with all phases of residential framing, including: Building and standing exterior walls Installing wall sheathing Setting floor joists and installing subfloor Installing posts, beams, and structural components Setting roof trusses and installing roof sheathing Reading and following building plans Maintaining a clean and safe job site Additional duties may include: Installing windows and exterior doors Siding installation and other exterior finish work Assisting with other carpentry tasks as needed Qualifications Previous framing or carpentry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work well with a team and maintain a positive attitude Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, year-round work Opportunity for advancement Supportive team environment Variety of residential construction projects If you're looking to build a career with a company that values hard work, craftsmanship, and reliability, we'd love to hear from you.
